House Majority PAC, a super PAC that helps elect Democrats to the House, placed additional TV reservations Monday that bring its total early ad buys to more than $19.6 million across 23 media markets for the final weeks of the 2016 campaign.
The new reservations include $214,000 in Marquette, Michigan, and $378,000 in Traverse City, Michigan.
Both of those ad buys target Michigan's 1st District, an open seat where Democrat Lon Johnson is running to replace retiring GOP Rep. Dan Benishek. The Rothenberg & Gonzales Political Report/Roll Call rates the contest as Leans Republican .
The super PAC also upped an earlier $380,000 TV reservation in Omaha, Nebraska . The original reservation was intended for Nebraska's 2nd District, where Democratic Rep. Brad Ashford is one of the most vulnerable incumbents this cycle.
