House Majority PAC Staffs Up For 2016

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC announced the hiring of three senior staffers as it continues to gear up for the 2016 election. Jeb Fain will serve as the organization’s new Communications Director and Casey Nesselhauf as Research Director. Democratic fundraising veteran Courtney Ryan has joined as a senior member of HMP’s finance team.

“Jeb, Casey, and Courtney each bring proven experience and years of dedication to electing Democrats across the country,” said Executive Director Alixandria Lapp. “I know they will be invaluable additions to our team as we hold House Republicans accountable for a radical agenda and work to elect solutions-oriented Democrats focused on a creating jobs and growing economic opportunity for all Americans."

Jeb Fain’s experience in political communications has taken him to Georgia, Central New York, Connecticut and back to his hometown of Washington, DC. In 2012, he served as Communications Director for Rep. Elizabeth Esty’s successful first-run for Congress — continuing in that role for her official office. He was also campaign Press Secretary for former Rep. Mike Arcuri in 2010. Most recently, Jeb served as Northeast Regional Press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and worked as a consultant for Ralston Lapp Media during the 2014 cycle. 

Casey Nesselhauf most recently served as Research Director of WOMEN VOTE, the independent expenditure program at EMILY’s List. Previously Casey worked as Research Director for the Florida Democratic Party and Deputy Research Director at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. He also served as a researcher at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee where he led a team that produced nearly 30 opposition research books and ensured the accuracy of $60 million in independent expenditures.  

Courtney Ryan joins HMP as a senior member of the finance team. She was most recently a regional candidate fundraising director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, where she advised dozens of congressional campaigns across the country. Before that, Courtney was a fundraising consultant to several federal and state political campaigns and organizations. She also served on the development team at America Votes. Courtney is a native of New Jersey, is a graduate of Villanova University, and lives in Washington, DC.
