Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC congratulates Representative Josh Gottheimer on his re-election to Congress in New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District.
“New Jerseyans rejected divisive, gridlock politics by re-electing Josh Gottheimer to continue to reach across the aisle and deliver results for New Jersey families,” said House Majority PAC Executive Director Charlie Kelly. “House Majority PAC was thrilled to support Gottheimer’s re-election to Congress, where he has proven to be a tireless advocate for his district – working to reduce taxes and boost the local economy.”
In 2016, HMP invested heavily to support Gottheimer when he unseated Republican Congressman Scott Garrett — making this seat one of the group’s marquee successes. This cycle, HMP helped Josh Gottheimer secure a second term representing New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District.
HMP launched a TV ad on cable in the district, which revealed to voters who Republican nominee John McCann really was: a Tea Party-backed politician. HMP also ran a sustained billboard campaign that highlighted Josh Gottheimer’s record of standing up for North Jersey.
