Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC today unveiled seven new TV ads that it will begin running in competitive House races nationwide. They include House Majority PAC’s first spots in CA-36 and 52, as well as in GA-12, NY-24 and TX-23.
CA-36 – “Forgotten” hits Mary Bono Mack for, after spending 14 years in Washington, having forgotten about the Coachella Valley. Bono Mack not only voted for tax cuts for the wealthy and tax breaks for companies that ship American jobs overseas, but did it all while she and her husband benefitted from a tax exemption for Florida residents. The spot will run for a week in Palm Springs as part of House Majority PAC’s previously announced $285,000 buy.
CA-52 – “How Much” goes after lobbyist-turned-politician Brian Bilbray for serving the special interests at the expense of San Diegans: voting to end guaranteed Medicare benefits, forcing seniors to negotiate with insurance companies, and allowing insurance companies to discriminate against women and deny access to birth control and mammograms. “How Come” will run in San Diego for a week as part of House Majority PAC’s $850,000 buy.
GA-12 – “Opportunity” takes Lee Anderson to task for backing a plan to end billions in education funding, which would mean huge cuts for Georgia schools and the dream of a college education being placed out of reach of countless young Georgians. The ad will run in Augusta for a week as part of a $140,000 buy.
NY-24 – “Color” criticizes Ann Marie Buerkle for following the right-wing, anti-middle class Republican line in Washington, supporting plans to gut Medicare, provide tax incentives to companies that ship American jobs overseas and raise taxes on the middle class while cutting them for the wealthiest among us. “Color” will run in Syracuse for a week as part of House Majority PAC’s previously announced $175,000 buy.
OH-16 – “Cloud” goes after Jim Renacci for his out of touch priorities that hurt Ohio families. Renacci continues his efforts to skip out on paying over $1 million in taxes he owes all while voting to increase taxes on middle class Ohio families and to cut them for the wealthiest among us. “Cloud” will run in Cleveland for a week at a cost of $730,000.
PA-12 – “Board” hits millionaire Wall Street lawyer Keith Rothfus for supporting a plan that would end Medicare’s guaranteed benefits, forcing seniors to negotiate with insurance companies and pay $6,400 more a year for care, all while cutting taxes for the wealthiest among us. “Board” will run in Pittsburgh for a week as part of a $230,000 buy.
TX-23 – “Halloween” reveals the truth behind Quico Canseco’s record, which includes over $700,000 in unpaid liens and taxes, a lawsuit in which his own clients charged him with stealing and the revocation of his company’s business license based on his failure to file a routine report on time. This Halloween-themed spot will run in San Antonio for a week as part of House Majority PAC’s previously announced $415,000 buy in this district.
