HOUSE MAJORITY PAC UP WITH SPANISH-LANGUAGE SPOT TOUTING JOSE HERNANDEZ
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC today announced that it will begin running a Spanish-language ad touting Democrat Jose Hernandez in California’s competitive 10th Congressional District race. This is the second ad from House Majority PAC in this race, part of a six-figure television buy.
The ad, entitled “Dream,” will air on Spanish-language television in the Sacramento market for a week.
“Jose Hernandez believes in the American Dream – in fact, he’s lived it – while Jeff Denham voted for a plan that threatens the very underpinnings of that dream by gutting Medicare, cutting Pell Grants and slashing infrastructure funding all while giving the wealthiest among us more tax breaks,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “The Central Valley deserves better than Jeff Denham.”
The transcript of the ad, first in Spanish, then in English, is available below.

HOUSE MAJORITY PAC AD: STARK CHOICE BETWEEN DENHAM AND HERNANDEZ
New Spot To Air For A Week And A Half In Sacramento
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced today that it will begin running an ad drawing the distinction between Jeff Denham’s support for essentially ending Medicare, forcing seniors to pay more out of pocket, and Jose Hernandez’s plan to protect and strengthen Medicare.
The spot, “Choices,” begins airing on Saturday in Sacramento as part of a six-figure buy. The ad will run for a week and a half.
“The choice between Jeff Denham and Jose Hernandez is crystal clear,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “After all, Denham voted to cut Pell Grants and gut Medicare, forcing seniors to pay more for care, all while protecting tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas and giving even more tax breaks to the wealthiest among us.”
The House Majority PAC today released a new Public Policy Polling (PPP) poll that shows Representative Jeff Denham in serious jeopardy of losing reelection.
In California’s 10th Congressional District, only 38% of voters would like to reelect Jeff Denham, while 49% would prefer someone else.
“Republican incumbents such as Jeff Denham running in swing districts are in serious trouble,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of the House Majority PAC. “Come next November, California voters will hold Denham accountable for failing to fight for middle class families.”
Public Policy Polling conducted this survey on behalf of House Majority PAC between October 19th and 23rd. In CA-10 500 registered voters were interviewed with a margin of error of +/-4.4%. To learn more, visit the House Majority PAC website.
On Thursday, the House Majority PAC released 12 polls in 12 targeted Republican House districts in the states of Arkansas, California, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Each of the House districts polled has completed the redistricting process. The polls were conducted between October 19-23rd by Public Policy Polling (PPP).
These post-redistricting polls demonstrate that Democrats will have a slew of opportunities as we seek to pick up 25 seats and win back the House including against Republicans who previously had safe districts.
“These polls illustrate that Republican incumbents running in swing districts across the country are in serious trouble and Republican control of the House is in serious jeopardy,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of the House Majority PAC. “Come next November, voters will hold House Republicans accountable for failing to fight for middle class families.”
