TV Buy In Competitive NY-27 Upped From Half A Million To $650,000
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC today announced that it is running a third ad targeting Chris Collins for priorities that put him way out of touch with Western New York families. House Majority PAC is also increasing its TV buy in this race to $650,000.
Chris Collins’ record is one of looking out for his bottom line above all else. In fact, in endorsing Rep. Kathy Hochul for reelection just yesterday, the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle criticized Collins for saying “life’s not fair” to justify what the paper called his “callous” opposition to extending unemployment benefits.
The new spot, entitled “Day One,” will run in Buffalo for a week as part of House Majority PAC’s $650,000 buy.
“Day One” is available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dl4pEM3xpRc.
“Chris Collins’ record – laying off workers, slashing the salaries of those he didn’t fire and manufacturing products in China – should tell western New York voters everything they need to know about Collins’ priorities,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “Chris Collins is out of step with western New York.”

Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced it is launching new TV ads as part of ongoing buys in both AZ-02 and NY-27.

NY-27 – “Flashlight” continues to make the point that Chris Collins is only looking out for himself and his friends:giving jobs to associates, awarding a lucrative taxpayer-funded contract to one of his companies and locating manufacturing facilities in Korea and China, creating jobs overseas. “Flashlight” will air in Buffalo for a week as part of House Majority PAC’s $500,000 buy.

CHRIS COLLINS IS OUT FOR HIMSELF – HOUSE MAJORITY PAC LAUNCHES NY-27 AD
“Now Hiring” To Air In Buffalo As Part Of Six Figure TV Buy
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced today that it will begin airing an ad hitting Chris Collins’ extensive record of self-service: giving jobs to his friends, awarding a lucrative taxpayer-funded contract to one of his companies and creating jobs in Korea and China by locating manufacturing facilities there.
The spot, entitled “Now Hiring,” will run for two weeks in Buffalo.
“Now Hiring” can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NS-KHe79Hc.
“One thing’s clear from Chris Collins’ record: he knows how to look out for his own bottom line at the expense of Western New York,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “Whether it’s handing out jobs to his friends, awarding a lucrative taxpayer-funded contract to one of his companies or creating jobs in Korea and China because he said it wasn’t ‘feasible’ to do so here at home, Collins is out for himself.”

House Majority PAC Statement on Paul Ryan as Romney’s VP Pick
August 11, 2012
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC Executive Director Alixandria Lapp today released the following statement on Mitt Romney’s announcement of Paul Ryan as his vice presidential pick.
“Paul Ryan is the architect of the Romney-Ryan plan that not only ends Medicare but also dramatically increases the deficit by giving the wealthy and big corporations huge tax breaks. The political liability that is the Romney-Ryan plan was on full display in upstate New York last year when Democrat Kathy Hochul won a Congressional seat in a Republican district and House Majority PAC made it clear we would fight back aggressively against such an extreme plan.
“With Congressman Ryan on the ticket, every House Republican and candidate nationwide will have to explain their support for the radical Romney-Ryan budget that hits seniors, families and the middle class in the pocketbook, while lavishing tax breaks on the big corporations and the wealthiest among us.”
The ad that House Majority PAC ran in last year’s special election in upstate New York here:

Transcript
Narrator: Jane Corwin.
Corwin: “We can’t keep piling on debt for future generations.”
Narrator: But the budget Corwin supports actually increases the national debt by $8 trillion over ten years while Corwin’s plan would essentially end Medicare, it increases the debt by giving tax breaks to Big Oil and millionaires. Seniors sacrifice, the wealthy gain, our debt skyrockets. Jane Corwin: that’s not a plan, that’s a sham.”
