McCarthy and His Chaos Conference of Extremists Have Taken Over

Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC Executive Director Abby Curran Horrell issued the following statement after Kevin McCarthy was elected to be the lame duck Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives:

“Plain and simple, Kevin McCarthy is now a lame duck Speaker and under his leadership extreme and out-of-touch House Republicans will continue their attempts to control Americans’ rights and bodies, put corporations over working families, and gut Medicare and Social Security. House Majority PAC will hold Republicans accountable and in 2024 we will take back the House.”
