HMP Releases New Ads in 23 Districts

NJ-02 (Van Drew)

House Majority PAC is launching another ad in New Jersey’s 2nd District, highlighting party-switching Jeff Van Drew’s repeated attempts to serve himself, rather than the people he was elected to represent. The ad is available here and the script is below. The ad will run in Philadelphia and on New York cable and is supported by a budget of $1.34 million.

“Guarantee”
TV :30

Looking good. It’s Jeff Van Drew’s thing.
Doing good...not so much
Van Drew opposed tax cuts for Jersey homeowners.
And COVID relief for families and small businesses, putting jobs at risk.
But when his re-election didn’t look good, Van Drew switched sides.
Selling out to corporate interests, just to save his job.
Because Van Drew’s gonna do what looks good... for Van Drew. Guarantee it.

And make older folks pay more for their care.
Young will do anything to get his job back. No matter what it costs you.

Over 700,000 Michiganders would lose health insurance.
And those with preexisting conditions would no longer be protected.
Kicking thousands off healthcare is bad enough.
But in the middle of a pandemic? That’s downright cruel.
Eric Esshaki. He couldn’t care less about you.

And for many cases of rape and incest.

“Common Sense”
TV :30

A $50 million trust fund can buy you lots of things …

300,000, without protections for preexisting conditions
