A major Democratic super-PAC on Wednesday announced that it has booked nearly $7.5 million in early TV airtime reservations as it gears up to compete in competitive House districts nationwide this fall.

The House Majority PAC released that its initial reservations will cover eight media markets including Denver; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Des Moines, Iowa; Las Vegas; Manchester, N.H.; New York City; and Philadelphia.

The group did not specify which seats will be targeted and said it’ll make additional reservations in the upcoming weeks and months. It noted that this is the earliest it has reserved fall airtime during a cycle and that the early investments allow the group to make the most of its money.

“House Majority PAC is once again making sure that our dollars go further by locking in rates early,” House Majority PAC Executive Director Alixandria Lapp said in a statement. “Democrats have numerous pick-up opportunities nationwide, and the Republican party is in disarray from the top of the ticket to the bottom.”

“We can expect an onslaught of desperate, negative attacks from the Koch Brothers, Karl Rove, and other GOP groups,” Lapp added. “With these early reservations, we’re taking a first step in ensuring that House Majority PAC is prepared to counter the GOP’s outside groups this fall and help elect Democrats across the country.”

Democrats have an uphill climb in taking back control of the House and need to net 30 seats. But as GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump inches closer to the nomination, some political observers see more of a path for Democrats to flip which party holds the majority.
