Democratic Super PAC Targets SEPA House Seats

Democrats are determined to pick up some House seats in Southeast PA. So much so that it appears some of them are putting their money where their mouths are.

According to Simone Pathe of Roll Call, a Democratic Super PAC has already reserved TV time in the Philadelphia media market.

House Majority PAC has secured $7.5 million in reservations for ads later this year. $730,000 of that is indexed for Philly.

The most competitive race in SEPA is the PA-8 contest which features Democrats Steve Santarsiero and Shaughnessy Naughton fighting for the chance to take on likely GOP nominee (and brother of the incumbent) Brian Fitzpatrick.

PA-6 and PA-7, though, are considered on the outer rim of competitiveness and may factor into the equation as well.

A reminder that this TV time could still be withdrawn so nothing is guaranteed, although it does supply a view of how Democrats view the electoral landscape like at this particular moment.
