Enyart Leads Plummer By Eight In New IL-12 House Majority PAC/SEIU Poll
September 19, 2012
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) today released a new poll that shows Democrat Bill Enyart leading Republican Jason Plummer by eight percentage points, 49 to 41. Enyart leads Plummer despite having a double digit name ID disadvantage.
President Obama leads Mitt Romney in the district 50-41 percent.
A memo from the polling firm, Benenson Strategy Group, is available .
“Jason Plummer is just another multi-millionaire who’s out for people like himself. After all, Plummer backs a plan that guts Medicare – forcing seniors to pay up to $6,400 more a year for care – and slashes job training programs and Pell Grants, all to pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “Illinois deserves better.”
