HMP Ad Reveals Pete Sessions’ True Colors – Just Another Career Politician
October 9, 2018
Washington, DC – Today, House Majority PAC launched a new TV ad revealing that after more than 20 years in Washington, Pete Sessions has lost touch with Texas. Sessions has taken nearly $1 million from the insurance industry while voting to increase health care costs for hardworking families.
Sessions voted for the disastrous GOP health care plan, which would let insurance companies discriminate against people with pre-existing conditions and impose a punishing “Age Tax” on older Texans. According to AARP, the “Age Tax” would encourage health insurance companies to charge people 50 and over five times more for health care than younger consumers.
“It Shows” begins running on cable and broadcast today in the Dallas-Fort Worth media market with a buy of approximately $2.3 million behind it.
“After 20 years in Washington, career politician Pete Sessions has forgotten about Texans,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Time and again, Sessions has put the special interests ahead of hardworking families and their pocketbooks. Texans have had enough of Pete Sessions and his higher health care costs.”
