HMP and CHC BOLD PAC Announce DACA Digital Ad Campaign

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, House Majority PAC and CHC BOLD PAC announced a digital ad campaign calling out Republican Members of Congress for offering nothing but false hope and empty promises to DREAMers who face the risk of deportation starting March 5. The campaign targets include Jeff Denham (CA-10), Mike Coffman (CO-06), Carlos Curbelo (FL-26), and Barbara Comstock (VA-10). The ads will run in English “Broken Promises” and Spanish “Promesas Rotas” in the targeted districts.
“These Republican Members of Congress may talk a good game when it comes to helping this nation’s DREAMers, but they’ve failed to accomplish meaningful and urgently needed action,” said House Majority PAC Executive Director Charlie Kelly. “Ultimately, House Republicans have provided nothing but broken promises at best. From Mike Coffman twice buckling under party pressure on a clean DREAM Act to Carlos Curbelo using his leadership PAC to fund hardline immigration opponents, it’s clear these Republicans are playing partisan games with people’s lives.”
“It’s time to hold Republicans like Mike Coffman, Barbara Comstock, Carlos Curbelo, and Jeff Denham accountable for their complete failure to protect DREAMers after Trump has announced the end to DACA,” said Andres Orellana, Political Director of CHC BOLD PAC. “Time is running out. If you aren’t part of the solution, then you’re part of the problem, and by refusing to stand up to Trump, these Republicans effectively stand with him. Voters see through this charade, and we will see you at the ballot box.”
As part of the campaign, the ads will link to a new website ProtectTheDREAMers.com which showcases the ads and highlights the stakes for DREAMers.
