HMP and WOMEN VOTE! Release TV Ad Slamming Rossi’s Disastrous Record Failing Middle-Class Families

Washington, DC – Today, House Majority PAC and EMILY’s List’s independent expenditure operation, WOMEN VOTE! launched a new TV ad slamming Dino Rossi for his disastrous record failing the middle class.

In Olympia, Rossi advocated for toxic policies that harm hardworking families. Rossi voted to strip health care coverage away from 45,000 children and raise taxes on nursing home beds. Meanwhile, on the campaign trail, he wholeheartedly supports the GOP tax plan, which gives tax breaks to the ultra-rich at the expense of the middle class. 

“Memories” begins airing on cable and broadcast today in the Seattle media market.

“Dino Rossi has a long career of pushing devastating policies that hurt hardworking Washingtonians,” said House Majority PAC Communications Director Jeb Fain. “He won’t bat an eye at squeezing the middle class even more by raising their taxes or taking away their health care coverage. Voters can’t afford to have Dino Rossi in Congress where he’d continue to look out for himself instead of his constituents.” 

“There’s a reason Washington voters have rejected Dino Rossi multiple times,” said EMILY’s List Vice President of Communications Christina Reynolds. “Between voting to cut health care coverage and supporting a tax plan that benefits the wealthy few, Dino Rossi can’t be trusted to be an advocate for them in Congress.”
