HMP Announces Additional $2.3 million in TV Reservations
July 29, 2020
2020 reservations total $75 million to expand and protect House majority
Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC announced it is reserving an additional $2.3 million in television ads in eight key markets to run in the final weeks of the election cycle. The ads will bolster House Majority PAC’s efforts to protect and expand the Democratic House majority, prioritizing an expanding map in Texas and reinforcing support for incumbent House members in Trump-leaning districts.
Additional reservations and changes may be made as campaigns and races develop over the remainder of the election cycle.
“Every day we see the need for a stronger federal response to the COVID crisis. While the President and Senate refuse to act, it reinforces the importance of a strong Democratic House majority that prioritizes America’s families first,” said House Majority PAC Executive Director Abby Curran Horrell. “These reservations will enable us to expand efforts in a number of districts where former Republican voters have been alienated by President Trump’s failure to lead.”
In addition to television reservations, HMP has already requested to book $4.6 million in digital ads. The eight-figure digital investment, announced in March, is the largest in HMP’s history and is the earliest HMP has invested in digital advertising.
The announcement today includes the following reservations:
-
Charleston: $130,000
-
Dallas: $1.1 million
-
Des Moines: $300,000
-
New York City: $250,000

-
Quad Cities: $175,000
-
