HMP Launches Ads in NY-19 and NY-24

October 23, 2018

Washington, DC – Today, House Majority PAC launched two new TV ads in NY-19 and NY-24. In Washington, John Faso and John Katko sided with their party and special interests while voting to hurt hardworking New York families.

“John Faso and John Katko have made it crystal clear with their toxic voting records that they’re not fighting for hardworking New York families,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Instead, they’re looking out for their special interest donors who pad their campaign coffers while making it harder for middle-class families to make ends meet. New York families know that they can’t count on John Faso or John Katko to stand up for them or their pocketbooks.”

John Faso broke his promise to protect people with pre-existing conditions – and he also broke his promise to seniors. In Albany and Washington, he voted to increase health care premiums on older New Yorkers, and he took over $220,000 from insurance interests.

Seniors” begins running on cable and broadcast today in the Albany media market and on cable in the New York City media market with a buy of approximately $430,000 behind it.

John Katko took over $3.4 million from special interests and voted for a toxic tax plan that hurts New York families. The plan gives the ultra-rich and corporations nearly a trillion in tax breaks while raising taxes on the middle class and increasing premiums on older Americans.

Not Here” is the second ad running as part of an over $1 million buy on broadcast and cable in the Syracuse media market and on cable in the Rochester media market.
