HMP Launches New Ads in Five Districts

September 14, 2020

NY-24 (Katko)

As first reported in the Auburn Citizen, House Majority PAC is launching two new ads on John Katko’s record. You can read the full article here

House Majority PAC is launching two new ads on September 15 that highlight two of John Katko’s biggest vulnerabilities in his reelection campaign: his record of voting 90 percent with Donald Trump last Congress and his anti-choice agenda, working to defund Planned Parenthood and support for overturning Roe v. Wade. Polls consistently show Joe Biden leading Donald Trump by double digits in New York’s 24th Congressional District.

The ads will run in Syracuse.

All-In”
It doesn’t make sense.
Four years ago, John Katko claimed Trump “will never” earn his vote.
But, now? “Katko is all-in for Trump.”
Endorsing Trump for re-election – after voting with Trump ninety percent of the time.
Katko’s Trump endorsement overlooks the chaos. The corruption. The coronavirus failures.
No wonder Joe Biden has endorsed Dana Balter for Congress.
John Katko’s votes and endorsement go to Trump. So ask yourself why you’d ever give Katko yours.

Ours
It’s not just the choice he made when John Katko endorsed Trump for reelection.
It’s the disturbing choices Katko makes that ought to be ours.
Like Katko voting to defund Planned Parenthood. Not once – but five times.
And Katko’s stunning admission he would vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Which could deny abortion services, even to rape survivors – even to women facing a life-threatening pregnancy.
Those are John Katko’s choices.
Now we – get to make ours.

TX-24 (Van Duyne)

As football returns to Texas, House Majority PAC is reminding voters of Beth Van Duyne’s failed record as Irving mayor, including losing the Cowboys, and her support for plans to cut taxes for the wealthiest one percent, gut coverage for pre-existing conditions and raise middle class taxes–all while adding $2 trillion to the deficit.

The ad is below and will run in the Dallas market.

Lose
When Beth Van Duyne was mayor, Irving lost the Cowboys…
If Van Duyne gets to Congress, we could lose a lot more.
Van Duyne supports a plan that would gut protections for pre-existing conditions like asthma, cancer and even coronavirus.
But for wealthy donors, Van Duyne’s a winner.
She supported slashing taxes on the richest one percent…
By raising middle class taxes and adding two trillion dollars to the deficit.
With Beth Van Duyne, you lose.

VA-02 (Taylor)

House Majority PAC is launching a new ad on September 15 highlighting Scott Taylor’s disastrous record in Congress, taking more than $850,000 in campaign donations from special interests while voting to give corporations a major tax cut that could jeopardize Social Security and Medicare and voting repeatedly to gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions.

The ad and the script are below. The ad will run in Norfolk.

Think Again
Think you know Scott Taylor?  Think again.
In Washington, Scott Taylor got a cool eight hundred thousand from special interests.
They got billions in tax handouts — which could mean devastating cuts to Social Security and Medicare.
And big insurance companies got Taylor’s vote to gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions
All we got was a disgraced congressman who puts the special interests first.

IL-13 (Davis)

House Majority PAC is launching a new ad in IL-13 highlighting Rodney Davis’ record of telling voters one thing, then doing the opposite in Congress. After repeatedly making promises to his constituents about protecting pre-existing conditions, Davis voted to gut coverage for pre-existing conditions, all while taking more than $200,000 in campaign donations from special interests and voting to give them a $40 billion tax cut.

The ad will run in the Champaign market.

Smiles

Every election year we get more smiles, handshakes, and promises from Rodney Davis.
But back in Washington, Davis is all smiles for big drug companies because they’ve given him over $200 grand while Davis gave them a $40 billion tax cut.
Despite promises to Illinois, Davis voted eleven times to gut protections for pre-existing conditions.
Rodney Davis went Washington in the worst way.

PA-08 (Bognet)

House Majority PAC is launching a new ad highlighting how many voters in Northeast Pennsylvania could lose coverage for pre-existing conditions if Jim Bognet were to get a vote in Congress. As a Washington political bureaucrat, Bognet made clear that his loyalties are to the special interests and not the people of Pennsylvania’s 8th District.

The ad will run in the Wilkes Barre market.

His Way
Our baseball stadium holds ten thousand people.
Nearly 300,000 Northeastern Pennsylvanians with pre-existing conditions could lose their health care coverage — if Jim Bognet has his way.
Before running for Congress, Bognet worked as a Washington political bureaucrat.
No wonder Bognet supports a radical Washington agenda — allowing insurance companies to gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions.
When Jim Bognet wins.  We lose.
