HMP Launches New TV Ad Spotlighting Tenney’s Record of Raising Taxes on New York Families

September 18, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC launched a TV ad spotlighting Claudia Tenney’s record of raising taxes on hardworking New York families.

In Albany, Tenney repeatedly voted against middle class tax relief. In Washington, she took nearly $200,000 from banks and financial institutions and voted for a toxic tax plan that raises taxes on hardworking families while giving 83 percent of the benefits to the ultra-rich and corporations. To pay for this plan, Congress intends to cut $500 billion from Medicare and Social Security.

Around Here” begins running on broadcast and cable today in the Syracuse media market and on broadcast in the Utica media market. A second version of this ad titled, “Your Money,” will begin running on broadcast and cable today in the Binghamton media market. The buy for both versions together is over $900,000.

“From Albany to Washington, Claudia Tenney has a long record of raising taxes on the middle class,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Tenney looks out for herself and her campaign donors, instead of standing up for the hardworking families she’s supposed to represent. Voters can’t afford to send Claudia Tenney back to Washington where she’ll continue to stick New York families with the bill.”
