HMP Poll: Bob Harvie Statistically Tied with Brian Fitzpatrick in PA-01

Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority PAC poll of Pennsylvania’s 1st Congressional District, conducted by GQR from August 19-23, finds Democratic candidate Bob Harvie statistically tied with Republican incumbent Brian Fitzpatrick.
Key findings from HMP’s poll include:
- Harvie and Fitzpatrick are in a dead heat on the initial ballot test: In a head-to-head matchup, Harvie and Fitzpatrick are statistically tied, with Harvie at 48% and Fitzpatrick at 49%.
- Democrats lead on the generic congressional ballot: 50% of PA-01 voters say they would support the Democratic candidate, compared to 43% who say they would support the Republican if the election were held today.
- Donald Trump is underwater in PA-01: Trump’s favorability rating stands at 34% favorable and 60% unfavorable.
