HMP Poll: Christina Hines Tied with Michael Bouchard Junior in MI-10

Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority PAC poll of Michigan’s 10th Congressional District, conducted by Global Strategy Group from August 10-13, finds Democratic candidate Christina Hines tied with Republican candidate Michael Bouchard Junior.
Key findings from HMP’s poll include:
- Democrats lead on the generic congressional ballot: 46% of MI-10 voters say they would support the Democratic candidate, compared to 42% who say they would support the Republican if the election were held today.
- Donald Trump is underwater in MI-10: Trump’s favorability rating stands at 42% favorable and 52% unfavorable.
- Hines and Bouchard Junior are in a dead heat on the initial ballot test: In a head-to-head matchup, Hines and Bouchard Junior are tied at 45%.
- Hines pulls ahead on the informed ballot: After hearing bios of both candidates, Hines leads Bouchard Junior 47% to 41%.
