HMP Poll: Don Leonard Within Striking Distance of Mike Carey in OH-15

Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority PAC poll of Ohio’s 15th Congressional District, conducted by Hart Research Associates from June 23-25, 2026, finds Democratic candidate Don Leonard is within striking distance of Republican Rep. Mike Carey.
Key findings from HMP’s poll include:
- Donald Trump is underwater in OH-15: Trump’s favorability rating stands at just 44% favorable to 55% unfavorable in the district.
- Democrats lead the generic congressional ballot: When asked which party they would support if the 2026 congressional election were held today, 47% of voters backed the Democratic candidate, compared to 44% who supported the Republican candidate.
- Don Leonard is within striking distance of Mike Carey: In the initial three-way congressional ballot test, 40% of OH-15 voters support Don Leonard, 45% support Mike Carey, and 3% support Libertarian Brennan Barrington.
