HMP Poll: Pia Dandiya Leads Casey Askar in FL-22

Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority PAC poll of Florida’s 22nd Congressional District, conducted by Impact Research from August 24-31, finds Democratic candidate Pia Dandiya leading Republican candidate Casey Askar.

Key findings from HMP’s poll include:

• Democrats and Republicans are tied on the generic congressional ballot: 46% of FL-22 voters say they would support the Democratic candidate, and 46% said they would support the Republican candidate if the election were held today.

• Pia Dandiya leads Casey Askar on the initial ballot test: In a head-to-head matchup, Dandiya leads Askar 46% to 44%. 

• Pia Dandiya pulls further ahead on the informed ballot: After hearing bios of both candidates, Dandiya leads Askar 49% to 44%.
