HMP Poll: Rebecca Cooke Leads Derrick Van Orden in WI-03

Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority PAC poll of Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District, conducted by FM3 Research from June 20-25, 2026, finds Democratic candidate Rebecca Cooke leading Republican Rep. Derrick Van Orden in the race for Congress. 

Key findings from HMP’s poll include:

• Rebecca Cooke leads Derrick Van Orden: In a head-to-head matchup, Cooke leads Van Orden 50% to 46%.
  
• Democrats lead on the generic congressional ballot: When asked which party they would support if the 2026 congressional election were held today, 49% of WI-03 voters backed the Democratic candidate, while 47% supported the Republican candidate.

• Derrick Van Orden is underwater in the district: Van Orden’s favorability rating is 38% favorable to 53% unfavorable, including 46% who view him very unfavorably.

• Donald Trump is also underwater in WI-03: Trump’s favorability rating stands at 46% favorable to 53% unfavorable.
