HMP Poll: William Lawrence Leads Tom Barrett in MI-07

Washington, D.C. – A new House Majority PAC poll of Michigan’s 7th Congressional District, conducted by Global Strategy Group from August 11-13, finds Democratic candidate William Lawrence leading Republican incumbent Tom Barrett. 

Key findings from HMP’s poll include:

• William Lawrence leads Tom Barrett in the initial head-to-head: In an initial head-to-head matchup, Lawrence leads Barrett 49% to 47%. 

• Barrett’s favorable rating is underwater: Only 35% of MI-07 voters have a favorable view of Tom Barrett, and 47% have an unfavorable view. 

• Trump’s favorable rating is underwater: Only 43% of MI-07 voters have a favorable view of Donald Trump, and 53% have an unfavorable view.
