HMP Sets September Fundraising Record

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC announced that its latest monthly fundraising report will show the group breaking its record for September with a monthly haul of approximately $7.1 million. HMP raised $4.3 million in September, 2014 and $5.8 million in September, 2012. The report will also show the group ended this September with $16 million cash-on-hand. The group ended September, 2014 with $11.8 million cash-on-hand and September, 2012 with $5.7 million cash-on-hand.
 
The September numbers bring House Majority PAC’s total raised for the 2016 cycle to over $33.6 million. The totals for the cycle include more than 156,000 individual contributions from close to 48,000 contributors.
 
“Thanks to the support of our donors, House Majority PAC has had another record-breaking month,” said HMP Executive Director Alixandria Lapp. “We’re going to continue working to expand the map and hold House Republicans accountable for the extreme rhetoric and agenda that’s taken their own party off the deep end.”
 
The recent fundraising report covers September 1 through September 30.
 
House Majority PAC raised and spent $36 million in 2012 and $38 million in 2014.
