HMP Slams Valadao for Trying to Take Health Care from Tens of Thousands in CA-21
June 18, 2018
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC launched an early media campaign against Congressman David Valadao in CA-21. The campaign will include two billboards, two digital ads in English and Spanish as well as a radio spot. The billboards and first digital ad were launched today, slamming Valadao on his disastrous health care vote that would take away coverage from 60,500 constituents.
Digital Ad
The billboards targeting Valadao will run for eight weeks. One billboard will be on Highway 99 heading towards Bakersfield and the second billboard will be located off Highway 180 near Mendota en route from Fresno.
Billboards
The billboards and digital ad will direct constituents to a website www.ValadaoValues.com which details Valadao’s real record. Valadao voted for the American Health Care Act (AHCA), which would take away health care from tens of thousands of Central Valley residents while gutting protections for people living with pre-existing conditions.
“Congressman Valadao betrayed his own constituents,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Time and again, Valadao has proven that he’s only looking out for himself and special interests – voting to increase taxes and leave tens of thousands in the Central Valley uninsured. He’s consistently failed the hardworking families he was supposed to represent, and HMP is launching this early campaign to make sure voters know the facts about David Valadao.”
