HMP Statement on House GOP Budget

WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority PAC Senior Communications Advisor Jeb Fain issued the following statement regarding the House GOP budget being passed out of the House Budget Committee:

“This budget is a massive handout to the wealthy and special interests, and dismisses everyone else as an afterthought. It is a testament to how extreme the GOP’s disregard for their constituents is – slashing programs like Medicare, Medicaid, education, affordable housing and attacking Social Security. These are programs that hardworking Americans across the country depend on, and House Republicans continue to show how out-of-touch they are with the basic economic needs and values of the people they are supposed to represent.”
