HMP Statement on House Passing GOP Tax Plan

WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority PAC Executive Director Charlie Kelly issued the following statement regarding House passage of the Republicans’ tax plan.

“This is a reckless scheme that accomplishes the GOP’s sole goal of cutting taxes for the ultra-rich while hurting hardworking families. In fact, in many cases, it will raise taxes on the middle class by eliminating or reducing critical deductions, and threatens deep cuts to critical programs like Medicare and student loans. From this tax proposal to their horrendous healthcare plan, House GOP members continue to show contempt for hardworking families.”
