HMP Statement on Senate Advancing Disastrous GOP Healthcare Bill

WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority PAC Senior Communications Advisor Jeb Fain released the following statement regarding the Republican Senate’s motion to proceed on the disastrous GOP healthcare bill:

“Senate Republicans have apparently taken cues from their House counterparts in advancing a disastrous healthcare bill through backroom deals. The financial security, health, and very lives of countless Americans are at stake. Voters won’t forget that House Republicans began this disaster by passing the AHCA back in May, and they won’t forgive them for their bill that guts protections for pre-existing conditions, implements an ‘Age Tax,’ and takes away health coverage from 23 million Americans. House Republicans forever hold responsibility for this mess, and HMP will be doing its part to help the American people keep them accountable.”
