“Congratulations to the Democratic House candidates advancing to run-offs on May 22nd. In Texas and across the country, Democrats focused on fighting for the middle class are offering a stark contrast to Paul Ryan and House Republicans in the General Election.

“More so, it’s crystal clear that the incredible grassroots energy translated into significant turnout for Democrats who are excited to flip the House this November. The enthusiasm gap speaks volumes about the groundswell of support for a Democratic-controlled Congress as well as voters’ rejection of Congressional Republicans and the policies they’ve pushed – including increased healthcare costs for hardworking Texas families. The dynamics we witnessed last night bode well for Democratic House candidates heading into November.”
