October 24, 2016
Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC announced the group’s third ad in the race for Iowa’s First Congressional District. The ad, titled “Listen,”continues to hammer Congressman Rod Blum for his long-running, dangerous agenda for Social Security. Blum called for privatizing Social Security in an op-ed for Dubuque’s Telegraph Herald and supported benefit cuts by voting to raise the retirement age for Social Security.
“Listen” can be viewed online here.
“Congressman Blum has made it loud and clear – he doesn’t stand with Iowa seniors,” said House Majority PAC Communications Director Jeb Fain. “From risking Iowans’ retirement on Wall Street to raising the retirement age, Iowa seniors can’t afford Blum’s radical agenda for Social Security.”
“Listen” is currently airing on broadcast stations in the Cedar Rapids media market.
