July 10, 2012

Three-Month Period Saw 3,500 Online Donations In Amounts of $100 Or Less

Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced today that it raised $4.3 million in the second quarter of 2012. In an indication of the strength of House Majority PAC’s online grassroots fundraising program, between April and June, donors made nearly 3,500 contributions online in amounts of $100 or less.

“While the Koch Brothers, Karl Rove, Sheldon Adelson and their right-wing allies continue to promise unprecedented spending in House races nationwide, House Majority PAC is committed to marshaling the resources to effectively combat their efforts to promote and defend the House GOP’s extreme agenda,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “House Majority PAC’s fundraising – and particularly the strength of its online grassroots program – demonstrates just how clearly Americans see the choice before them this November.”

This quarterly filing marks a significant increase in House Majority PAC’s fundraising efforts. In the first quarter of 2012, House Majority PAC raised just over $1.5 million.
