House Majority PAC Announces New Ad Offensive Against Representative Bill Johnson for His Shameful Priorities

October 17, 2011

The House Majority PAC today is announcing a 6-figure paid campaign offensive against House Republicans including Representative Bill Johnson (OH-06) for their shameful priorities. The ad offensive starts today and runs for a week. The ad will be featured on House Majority PAC’s new website.

“The people of Ohio have had enough of Representative Bill Johnson and House Republicans’ shameful priorities,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “Whether it’s protecting profits for companies that ship jobs to Mexico and China or voting to raise the age for Social Security, Johnson will have plenty to answer for back home next November.”

The latest ad offensive from the House Majority PAC comes as two new independent polls show voters want to elect Democrats to Congress in 2012. A new Reuters/Ipsos poll shows voters would support a Democratic candidate over a Republican candidate in their district by eight points (48– 40). A new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll found that voters prefer a Democratic-controlled Congress to a Republican-controlled Congress by four points (45– 41). Additionally, on October 12th, Gallup released a poll showing a record low of 13 percent of Americans approve of the job Congress is doing.
