House Majority PAC Announces Record-breaking Fundraising Quarter

April 9, 2014

Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC today released its first quarter 2014 fundraising total, which is a dramatic increase over the same time period in the 2012 election cycle. HMP raised over $5.2 million during the first quarter. That total is more than $3.7 million more than HMP took in during the first quarter of 2012.

That brings HMP’s total to over $12.7 million in donations for the 2014 cycle. This represents contributions from over 16,000 contributors.

“This impressive fundraising total shows that Democratic donors are committed to combatting the millions the Koch Brothers are spending in an attempt to buy the House of Representatives,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “We are making wise investments in races across the board where we can make a real difference.”
