$1 Million Buy Targets Republicans With Anti-Middle Class Priorities
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced today that it will begin airing new ads in four competitive Congressional districts. The spots represent a total buy of $1 million and include House Majority PAC’s first ads in Arizona.
AZ-01 – “Neon” targets former Payday Loan industry lobbyist Jonathan Paton who lost to Jesse Kelly in the AZ-08 Republican primary last cycle. The spot runs in Phoenix for a week at a cost of $320,000.

AZ-09 – “Higher and Less” explores Vernon Parker’s Tea Party call to eliminate the Department of Education, potentially putting at risk federal student loans and funding for Arizona’s schools. The spot runs in Phoenix for a week at a cost of $320,000.

IL-17 – “Doors” shows what it means for Illinois that Bobby Schilling voted for tax breaks for companies that outsource American jobs and to block the “Bring Jobs Home Act.” The ad will run in Peoria for a week and Rockford for two at a cost of $215,000. In cooperation with House Majority PAC, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), which represents 170,000 workers in the state, will run an identical spot in the Davenport-Rock Island-Moline market for two weeks.

VA-02 – “Upside Down” makes clear that it didn’t take long for Scott Rigell’s priorities to be turned upside down with his votes for millionaire tax cuts and billions in subsidies for Big Oil in contrast to his six votes to block middle class tax cuts. “Upside Down” will run in Norfolk for a week at a cost of $110,000.
