PAC Announces Hiring of Two Political Desks, Second Researcher
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced today that Gabby Adler and Jarrod Backous will be joining the organization as political desks, along with Blake Williams, who will be a researcher.
“With many targeted House races across the country heating up, House Majority PAC is continuing to build an organization that will hold Republicans accountable and take on Republican outside groups in the battle for the House majority,” said House Majority PAC Executive Director Ali Lapp. “Gabby, Jarrod and Blake have the experience, expertise and knowhow to win races and help ensure we take back the House.”
Most recently, Gabby Adler served as Communications Director in the office of the New York City Public Advocate. Previously, Adler was Communications Director for the Democratic staff of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and Ranking Member Howard Berman (D-CA). During the 2010 cycle, Adler worked at the DCCC as Midwestern Regional Press Secretary. Prior to the DCCC, Adler served as a senior advisor to Congressman Dave Loebsack (D-IA).
Jarrod Backous comes to House Majority PAC fresh off a primary win as the campaign manager for Brad Schneider’s campaign in IL-10, in which he implemented the campaign strategy, including overseeing the finance and communications operations. Prior to the IL-10 primary win, Backous worked in the finance operations of several successful U.S. Senate campaigns, including Senators Ben Nelson (D-NE), Mark Pryor (D-AR) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT). He spent the 2004 cycle at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
A veteran of Florida Congressional and Senate campaigns, Blake Williams spent the past few years in issue advocacy work, including launching a national nonprofit on gun violence prevention, and serving as Florida Communications Director for the Alliance for Climate Protection.
Adler, Backous and Williams join Lapp, deputy director Shannon Roche, communications director Andy Stone, researcher Matt Fuentes and operations and finance assistant Kaitlyn Beck at House Majority PAC.
