House Majority PAC Launches Ads in 10 Districts
October 6, 2020
MO-02 (Wagner)
House Majority PAC is today launching a new ad highlighting Ann Wagner’s votes to protect her access to private jets and first class flights as a member of Congress. Ann Wagner voted to give herself a pay raise and voted to block bills that would limit Congressional reimbursement for first class flights and private jets. Meanwhile, her personal wealth grew by more than $4 million.
“While others view being in Congress as a way to serve, Ann Wagner clearly sees it as a way to serve herself,” said Abby Curran Horrell, executive director of House Majority PAC. “Not only did Ann Wagner vote to give herself a pay raise, but she also made sure to block bills that would have stopped her from using taxpayer money for first class flights and private jets. That’s something that just won’t fly in Missouri.”
The ad is available here and the script is below. It will run in St. Louis and is supported by a budget of $380,000.

WI-03 (Van Orden)
House Majority PAC is today launching its first ad in Wisconsin’s 3rd District, highlighting Derrick Van Orden’s dangerous plans to eliminate the Affordable Care Act and eliminate protections for patients with preexisting conditions.
“During a pandemic, the one thing we should all be able to agree on is expanding access to affordable health care, but Derrick Van Orden has a different idea,” said Abby Curran Horrell, executive director of House Majority PAC. “If it were up to Derrick Van Orden, he’d institute an ‘age tax’ on people over 50, making their health care more expensive–not less–and eliminate protections for people with preexisting conditions. Basically, Derrick Van Orden’s healthcare plan is to tell Wisconsin families ‘don’t get sick,’ and we can’t afford that in Congress.”
The ad is available here and the script is below. It will run in La Crosse and is supported by $488,000.

“Tiffany Shedd isn’t even in Congress, but we already know how disastrous her agenda would be for Arizona’s families,” said Abby Curran Horrell, executive director of House Majority PAC. “At a time when we should be working to expand access to affordable healthcare and protecting access for people with preexisting conditions, Tiffany Shedd has already made clear that she would do the opposite–making healthcare more expensive and harder to get for patients with asthma or diabetes. It’s not right and we can’t afford her dangerous agenda in Congress.”

CA-25 (Garcia)
House Majority PAC today launched a new ad in California’s 25th District highlighting Congressman Mike Garcia’s support for a tax bill that benefitted millionaires like himself while raising taxes by thousands of dollars for California homeowners.
“Mike Garcia’s only been in Congress for a few months, but he’s always been in it for himself,” said Abby Curran Horrell, executive director of House Majority PAC. “At a time when Californians need relief more than ever, Mike Garcia is running entirely on President Trump’s failed agenda of tax cuts for millionaires and tax hikes for middle class families.”
The ad will run on Los Angeles broadcast and cable television over the next two weeks. It is supported by a budget of $1.35 million.
“Nice”
TV :30
Ooooh…must be nice.
To be a multi-millionaire C-E-O and a Congressman – like Mike Garcia.
It’s nice for Mike’s corporate donors – and millionaires like himself – that Mike supported Donald Trump’s huge tax giveaway.
While that same tax plan Garcia supports raised taxes by thousands on California homeowners when we can least afford it.
Congressman Mike Garcia. Good for millionaires like him – bad for Californians like you.

His arrest for battery at an all-night diner.
He had to complete anger management classes. Looks like they didn’t work.
Calls to 911 about domestic violence and disputes continued through 2018.

The ad is available here and the script is below. It will run in Los Angeles and is supported by a budget of $900,000.
“Sides”
TV :30
It’s all about which side you land on.
Donald Trump. Politician Young Kim.
Just like Trump, Young Kim supports repealing the Affordable Care Act.
And Kim’s own political backers would gut protections for Californians with preexisting health conditions.
And raise insurance premiums for older Americans – even during COVID-19.
On Trump’s side, not ours.
If only Young Kim cared less about him – and more about us.

All while Chabot never misses the chance to undermine your health care.
Chabot’s voted fifteen times to increase health care costs – and gut protections for preexisting health conditions.
Time to end Steve Chabot’s twenty-four years in Congress. A longtime politician Ohio won’t miss
