House Majority PAC Launches TV AD in CA-49

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC launched a new TV ad in California’s 49th Congressional District. The ad, titled “Country First,”presents the choice facing voters in CA-49 between Democrat Doug Applegate’s record of service to our country and Republican Congressman Darrell Issa’s history of looking out for himself in Washington. Applegate served in the U.S. Marines for 32 years including a combat tour in Iraq. Meanwhile, Issa has been exposed for securing millions of taxpayer dollars in Congress to benefit his own business and voted to raise his own pay 13 times.

“Country First” begins airing today on broadcast and cable in the San Diego media market with an approximately $660,000 airtime buy.
