House Majority PAC Launches TV, Online Ads Hitting Dave Joyce For His Government Shutdown Temper Tantrum

October 4, 2013

Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced today that it would begin running a multimedia campaign – including search and television advertising – calling out Rep. Dave Joyce for his role in causing a government shutdown and playing reckless games with the economy.

The Google and Bing search advertising campaign will ensure that as northeast Ohioans seek information about Rep. Dave Joyce’s role in causing the Republican government shutdown, they’ll be able to learn more and register their disapproval through www.TellDaveJoyce.com.

Additionally, House Majority PAC will begin airing today in Cleveland a television ad taking Rep. Dave Joyce to task for supporting a shutdown of the federal government. “Tantrum” makes clear that when Rep. Dave Joyce didn’t get his way on defunding Obamacare, he decided to throw his own temper tantrum and shut down the government.

“Tantrum” is available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsCxR8VNl8Q.

“When Dave Joyce didn’t get his way, he decided to throw a temper tantrum and shut down the federal government,” said Andy Stone, Communications Director for House Majority PAC. “Northeast Ohioans deserve better than Joyce’s childlike behavior and political gamesmanship with the economy.”

The OH-14 ads are part of a six-figure national multimedia campaign House Majority PAC is launching targeting all nine of the organization’s GOP targets. In addition to Joyce, the targeted Republican members are: Gary Miller (CA-31), Mike Coffman (CO-06), Rodney Davis (IL-13), Mike Fitzpatrick (PA-08), Michael Grimm (NY-11), Joe Heck (NV-03), John Kline (MN-02) and Steve Southerland (FL-02).
