House Majority PAC Raises Over $1.6 Million in March

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Majority PAC announced that its March fundraising report will show the organization having raised over $1.6 million during the month. The report will also show the group with over $9 million cash-on-hand. The March totals include more than 13,000 online contributions from approximately 11,000 donors. The most recent filing brings HMP’s total raised for the 2016 cycle to more than $11.8 million with over 107,000 contributions from nearly 40,000 donors.
 
The recent fundraising report covers March 1 through March 31.
 
“These latest fundraising totals demonstrate our donors’ steadfast and growing commitment to our shared cause – securing victories for Democrats in House races nationwide,” said House Majority PAC Executive Director Alixandria Lapp. “We’re grateful to the tens of thousands of Americans who are ensuring HMP will have the resources necessary to counter the GOP’s outside groups, expand the map for Democrats, and make the difference in winning critical districts this fall.”
 
House Majority PAC was founded in 2011. During the 2014 cycle, House Majority PAC spent $38 million and focused on leveraging resources and strategic investments to assist Democrats in winning 11 of 12 races that were “too close to call” on Election night. House Majority PAC’s work has been called “impressive” and “devastatingly effective.”
