March 11, 2014
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC today released its second ad in the WV-03 race. It features Rick Ryan of Sod,W.Va., who spent 35 years working in the Mountain State’s coal mines, explaining why he supports Nick Rahall and why Evan Jenkins is wrong for West Virginia.
“Stick” will run for a week in both the Charleston-Huntington and Bluefield-Beckley markets at a cost of $65,000. The ad is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?
Over the last five months alone, Democrat Nick Rahall has already faced well over a million dollars worth of false and misleading Koch brothers-funded attacks.
“Americans for Prosperity and other Koch-funded groups have spent freely to air misleading attacks against Nick Rahall and prop up insurance company ‘shill’ Evan Jenkins,” said Andy Stone, Communications Director for House Majority PAC. “But as Rick Ryan, a miner for 35 years from the town of Sod knows, Nick Rahall has spent his entire career fighting for West Virginia.”
House Majority PAC’s first spot in this race, which aired in December, is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?
