In Final FL-02 Push, House Majority PAC Launches Big Multimedia Campaign
October 28, 2012
Washington, D.C. – House Majority PAC announced today, in the lead up to Election Day, a multimedia campaign targeted at voters in Florida’s Second Congressional District.
The campaign, which includes a new TV commercial – House Majority PAC’s second in this district – radio ads and a major online push, will make clear to voters that Steve Southerland, who supports gutting Medicare, reducing Pell Grants and cutting Florida education funding, is out of touch with North Florida.
The new TV spot, entitled “Today,” begins running on Tuesday in Panama City as part of a previously announced $275,000 buy.

House Majority PAC also began airing a radio ad, entitled “Good Start,” in both Panama City and Tallahassee at a cost of $20,000. The radio spot will continue running through Election Day.

The final piece of House Majority PAC’s major FL-02 multimedia campaign is a $52,000 online effort that includespre-roll video ads, banner ads, mobile ads, social ads, and search engine marketing.
“Steve Southerland is so out of touch that his plan will make it harder for Floridians to get ahead,” said Alixandria Lapp, Executive Director of House Majority PAC. “Southerland wants to cut Florida education funding, reduce Pell Grants and make college loans more expensive, putting the dream of a college education of out reach for many.”
