Issa Will Vote Against DREAM Act
September 20, 2017
WASHINGTON, DC – Yesterday, Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-49) told the San Diego Union-Tribune that he would vote no on the DREAM Act. The DREAM Act would permanently protect DACA recipients.
“It’s clear that Congressman Darrell Issa is out-of-step with his constituents, and all of the California DREAMers who are working hard to make a better life for themselves,” said Charlie Kelly, Executive Director for House Majority PAC. “This bill would help thousands of hardworking, law-abiding immigrants who have been here since they were children. Yet, Congressman Issa proves once again that he doesn’t care about DREAMers or genuinely fixing our immigration system. California voters will not forgive or forget this awful decision when it’s time to head to the polls next November.”
