John Duarte Votes To Restrict Abortion Access Nationwide 

Washington D.C. – Extremist House Republicans, including John Duarte, voted last night for the Agriculture-FDA appropriation bill that includes a provision that would place a nationwide restriction on abortion access by outlawing mifepristone from being sold in retail pharmacies and by mail with prescriptions from a certified health care provider.

This measure would severely limit abortion access for over 64.5 million women across America overnight.

“Anti-abortion extremist Republican John Duarte remains shamelessly loyal to the MAGA agenda by voting to restrict abortion access nationwide,” HMP Press Secretary Alisha Heng said. “Duarte and his radical extremism are a clear and present danger to the rights and livelihoods of millions of Americans, and HMP will ensure he is voted out in 2024.”
