Mike Fitzpatrick’s Final Stand On A Government Shutdown Comes Tonight

Washington, D.C. – As the Tea Party government shutdown zero hour approaches, Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick is poised to vote tonight – again – to hold our economy hostage and back a shutdown of the government.

“As a member of the Tea Party House Republican ‘suicide squad,’ Mike Fitzpatrick’s bluster, brinkmanship, and economic hostage-taking will mean a government shutdown that will hurt the people of Pennsylvania,” said Andy Stone, Communications Director for House Majority PAC. “A government shutdown is needless, foolish, and economically reckless but that hasn’t stopped Congressman Fitzpatrick from joining with Tea Party to charge ahead and push our nation to the brink.”
