May 14, 2018

Lexington — House Majority PAC launched a mobile billboard tour across Kentucky’s Sixth Congressional District to hold Congressman Barr accountable for his disastrous healthcare vote. Congressman Barr voted for the American Health Care Act (AHCA), which would impose a devastating “Age Tax” on older Americans.

HMP’s mobile billboard was featured at a local rally hosted by BlueGrass Activist Alliance in Lexington. Following the rally the mobile billboard is traveling throughout Kentucky’s Sixth Congressional District.

The billboard targeted Congressman Barr for his vote for the GOP healthcare bill that would impose a devastating “Age Tax” on older Americans and take away healthcare from 23 million people.

“Congressman Andy Barr is completely out of touch with his constituents,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Time and time again, Barr has lined up behind the toxic GOP agenda that would hurt hardworking families, all to give tax cuts to the ultra-rich. Barr voted for a devastating ‘Age Tax’ that would hit the pocketbooks of older Americans, and Kentuckians have a right to know. House Majority PAC will continue to hold him accountable for is disastrous record.”
