New Ad in NJ-07 Shows There’s No Debating Lance’s Toxic Record on Health Care

Washington, DC – Today, House Majority PAC launched a new TV ad in NJ-07 that spotlights the stark differences between Democrat Tom Malinowski and Republican Congressman Leonard Lance. The ad, titled “Debate,” contrasts Malinowski’s commitment to protecting health care and lowering premiums against Lance, a career politician who has time and again sided with Republican leadership to sabotage our country’s health care system. 

In 2017, Lance voted in committee for the devastating GOP health care bill that would take away coverage from 23 million Americans, increase out-of-pocket costs, and gut protections for people living with pre-existing conditions. On top of that, Lance voted 60 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act that would strip many New Jerseyans of their health care coverage.

“Debate” begins running on cable today in the Seventh District with a buy of over $465,000 behind it.

“Leonard Lance is part of the problem in Washington,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Too often, Lance has sided with Washington Republicans to strip health care coverage and increase costs for thousands of hardworking New Jerseyans. He isn’t fooling anyone with a toxic record like this. Tom Malinowski will stand up for the middle class and fight to lower the cost of health care coverage that families depend on.
