New Ad: Truth is David Young Can’t Be Trusted to Protect Health Care

Washington, DC – Today, House Majority PAC launched a new TV ad in IA-03 slamming Congressman David Young for failing to protect health care for hardworking families.

Young took over $300,000 from insurance interests and voted for the GOP health care bill, which would gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions and impose a punishing “Age Tax” on older Iowans. 

The TV spot titled “Truth” begins airing today on broadcast in the Des Moines media market and on broadcast and cable in the Omaha media market with a buy of over $900,000 behind it.

“David Young lied about protecting health care for hardworking Iowans, and it’s clear that voters can’t trust him to keep his word,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “He serves the special interests and votes to throw hardworking Iowans under the bus – increasing health care costs and gutting protections. Iowans can’t afford another two years of David Young and his votes to sabotage health care.”
