New Billboard Takes Yoder to Task for Tax Scam Vote

February 5, 2018

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, House Majority PAC launched a Valentine’s Day-themed billboard slamming Congressman Kevin Yoder (KS-03) over his vote for the GOP’s toxic tax scam. The tax scheme gives massive tax cuts to the ultra-rich at the expense of hardworking families.

The billboard targeting Yoder will run for four weeks off I-670 in Kansas City, Kansas.

The tax scam will increase taxes for middle-class families while cutting taxes for the ultra-rich. This scam eliminates or reduces critical deductions that hardworking Americans rely on. The billboard will direct constituents to a website www.GOPTaxScheme.com where they can learn how the GOP’s tax scam hurts hardworking families across the country.

In December, House Majority PAC launched three holiday-themed billboards targeting Mike Bishop (MI-08), Jason Lewis (MN-02), and John Katko (NY-24) for their tax scam votes.

“House Majority PAC is making sure voters know the facts about how harmful this GOP tax scheme is for hardworking families,” said House Majority PAC Communications Director Jeb Fain. “With his party-line vote, Congressman Yoder proved he’s totally out-of-touch. This tax scam will raise taxes on middle-class families while giving massive tax breaks to the ultra-rich. Constituents deserve far better, and we’ll continue to hold Yoder accountable for supporting this toxic tax scam.”
