New Billboard Tells New York State Fairgoers about Katko’s Tax Scam

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, House Majority PAC launched a billboard in NY-24 slamming Congressman John Katko for supporting a toxic GOP tax scam. Under the tax scam, an overwhelming 83% of tax cuts go to the ultra-rich, while hardworking families are forced to pay higher taxes, higher health care premiums, and the national debt is ballooned by $1.9 trillion.

The billboard is located off of I-690 and 1225 State Fair Blvd Syracuse, New York, and will run for four weeks, including the two weeks that the New York State Fair is occurring when over a million people will pass by the billboard.  

The billboard directs constituents to a website www.CostYouMore.com where voters can learn just how toxic the GOP tax scam is, and how it hurts hardworking families in Central New York.

“It’s simple, John Katko voted with party leadership for a tax plan that helps the ultra-rich and special interests while leaving Central New Yorkers to pick up the bill,” said House Majority PAC Press Secretary Hannah Blatt. “Voters deserve far better than higher taxes and skyrocketing health care costs. That’s why House Majority PAC is letting Central New Yorkers know that John Katko isn’t standing up for them or their pocketbooks.”
